Passage

The Passage

at the corner of Deribasovskaya and Preobrazhenskaya Streets is a historic shopping complex and hotel in Odessa. It was built in 1898–1899 based on a design by architect Lev Vlodek. The Art Nouveau building is distinguished by its rich sculptural stucco work and massive Atlantean columns, and in its day was renowned for its ultra-modern amenities.
This architectural and historical landmark, built in the late 19th century, comprises a building with an atrium—a glass-enclosed space—and a courtyard in the form of a through-gallery.
