Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater

— an architectural gem and the oldest opera house in Ukraine, located at 1 Teatralny Lane. Built in 1887 in the Viennese Baroque style, it is renowned for its unique acoustics and luxurious auditorium in the French Rococo style. The Odessa Opera House is famous first and foremost for its architecture, and its layout rivals the best in Europe.
The theater building was once considered one of the finest in the world and remains the city’s main landmark.
